what kind of events do you photograph?

I photograph weddings, engagements, groom and bridal events, christenings, music concerts and corporate events.

what is your approach with your photography?

I have a relaxed approach and like to capture moments as they happen. Sometimes I might direct you a certain way but in general it’s about you having a good time and me being there to capture those moments. I also encourage all my clients and their guests to step in front of the camera for any photos they want with their partners, friends and families!

Do you just photograph events?

I also photograph cars for luxury car dealers and photograph homes for some of Adelaide’s best builders and interior designers.

Are you flexible with the hours that you can photograph our event?

Yes. Where possible and subject to availability I will do my best to accomodate your timing arrangements.

Is there a contract to read prior to making a booking?

Yes. A full set of terms and conditions will be available for you to read before you make a booking.

how do we secure a date for our wedding or event?

Due to demand I operate on a first come first serve basis and am unable to hold dates. In order to secure your wedding or event date a deposit payment must be made including acceptance of the terms and conditions. Deposit and payment terms are outlined in the terms and conditions.

Do you photograph events interstate or overseas?

Yes. Although I am based in Adelaide, South Australia I can travel for weddings and events. If you have a wedding or an event that is interstate (Australia) or if you are having a destination wedding on a Greek Island I can photograph your special day. how long have you been photographing?

I’ve always been a lover of the visual arts and photography. My interest in photography began to grow in 2009 when I visited the USA and began experimenting with street photography on the streets of New York. In 2016 I officially established and registered my business “Yanni Stath Photography”. I have also been employed as a photographer with Adelaide’s number one luxury car dealership since 2016.

do you edit your own photos?

Yes! I edit all my photos myself. This is an integral part of the overall process and one which I enjoy immensely. Editing your photos myself allows me deliver a consistent look whilst ensuring a high quality result. I do not outsource any of my work. I am a one man show!

What is your photo editing process like?

I photograph in RAW format. Photographing in RAW format gives me greater flexibility and creative power when I edit photos. I edit each photo individually myself (I don’t outsource any of my work!) and am very particular about this process to ensure I present the best photos to you. I like to edit photos in colour and black and white. When your photos are ready you will receive them in jpeg format making it easy for you to print your photos and for sharing your photos online.

Do you have an abn (Australian Business Number) and are you insured?

Yes and yes! My ABN number can be found at the bottom of my website and I have insurance which extensively covers my photography business.

Do you have a working with children permit?

Yes, I have a ‘Working With Children’ permit. The South Australian Government Department of Human Services requires any one working with children or minors (people under the age of 18) be screened for working with children.

when can we expect our photos to be ready?

After your wedding or event has been photographed then the editing process begins! This is a very meticulous process which takes time, effort and requires a lot of attention to detail. In order for me to deliver the best photos I can to you the editing process cannot be compromised or rushed. Galleries may take several weeks and sometimes several months to be delivered depending on my current schedule and demand. When possible I will be in touch with you during the editing process to give you updates as to when you can expect to have your photos delivered.

can you deliver our photos sooner?

I work full time as a photographer which means I operate a very tight photoshoot and editing schedule on any given day of the week. For an additional cost you can ‘jump the queue’ to receive your photos sooner, otherwise normal queue wait times will apply.
